Raspberry Pi is neither a microcontroller nor a microprocessor it is a SOC(System on chip) . The Raspberry pi is able to perform a lot of things that an Arduino may not be able to and hence Raspberry pi is a very hot topic now a days. Raspberry pi uses ARM processor for its functionality . If you have read my post On Arduino Uno R3 you must have seen my list of projects using arduino , now in this post i’ll be discussing about what you can do using a Raspberry pi .
Although due its fast processor it may not be a good deal to interface some sensors and make a functional project but a raspberry pi when used with its full potential may do wonders .
There are alot of projects i have been developing using this board and so far had a lot of fun enjoying its functionalities , but now as i have explored it to a great extent i want to share my experience and projects with you guys to help you explore it too !
So Here also i’ll be listing out some wonderful projects that i have developed using this SOC , here you go !
- Humanoid Based Personal Assistant ( One of my best projects 🙂 )
- Techvision : Vision Enhancement For the People With Blur Vision .
- Wifi Controlled Home Automation using MQTT protocol
- Smart Mirror
- Face detection
- Face Recognition
- Color detection
- Voice controlled Home Automation ( using ALEXA )
- Color Detection based Follower
- Face Recognition based Home security
So these above mention projects is to basically give you idea that what i have done using this board and what all you can do using it . I hope you’ll bring this board to good use and keep learning from us as well .
To help You develop all such projects we are always there to help you . You Can find the description and code to these projects on our website and make them too. Please feel free to contact us and message us here , we would be happy to help 🙂
